Replay

Play back screen captures of your runs directly inside RefleK's.

Overview

The Replay feature records a screen capture of your KovaaK's runs and plays them back inside RefleK's, letting you watch exactly what happened during any scenario — your crosshair placement, target transitions, and overall movement — frame by frame.

How It Works

When replay recording is enabled, RefleK's captures your screen at a high rate during your runs. The capture is saved locally alongside your run data and can be played back from the replay viewer.

Performance & Resource Usage

Replay is designed to be as performant and resource-efficient as possible. The capture pipeline uses GPU encoding to record your screen, so there is no significant impact on your CPU or game performance while recording.

Even while actively recording a run, the additional RAM usage is only around 50 MB — the feature is extremely lightweight during capture.

During playback, you may notice a higher increase in RAM usage. This is because the video is rendered through the webview, which allocates additional memory to decode and display the capture smoothly.

  • Disk space — capture files are stored locally and will accumulate over time; you can delete individual captures after watching them from the replay viewer
  • GPU-accelerated capture — encoding is handled by your GPU, keeping CPU overhead to a minimum during recording
Tip: If you're on a system with limited RAM, you can disable replay recording per-session or toggle it off entirely in settings while still keeping stat tracking and mouse movement analysis active.

Playback Controls

Once a run has a replay capture, you can:

  • Play / Pause — watch the run at normal speed
  • Speed control — slow down to study movements or speed up to skip through
  • Scrub — jump to any moment in the run
  • Full-screen mode — expand the replay for a closer look
Anticheat Warning: Replay captures your screen using low-level system APIs. While RefleK's is designed to work safely with KovaaK's, some kernel-level anticheat systems in other games (such as Vanguard or FACEIT) may misinterpret screen capture calls as intrusive behavior. If you play games with aggressive anticheats, consider closing RefleK's before launching those games or disable replay recording when not using KovaaK's.

Data & Privacy

All replay captures are stored locally on your machine. RefleK's does not upload or share your screen captures anywhere. You can delete individual captures after watching them from the replay viewer.

Note: Replay capture is Windows-only due to platform-specific APIs.
